These Foster Park artificial turfs are multi use turf for both football and hockey.

The works were completed by Polytan nz Ltd, with selwyn district council as the client and funder.

Twoman structures carried out all the surrounding concrete works, pump structure, assembly and install of sports/service equipment as well as the construction of the 6m high ball fences at each end of the pitches.

The new facilities are an addition to the existing foster park complex and will allow all year round use for training and competition as well as recreational use for local clubs and regional events.

Local schools, and community groups will also be allowed to utilise the new facilities and gain the enjoyment and opportunity that these grounds now provide for the area.

The job went off without a hitch and we are glad we were able to meet deadlines meaning completion prior to winter which both would of hindered construction and also allowed use of the turfs in its most needed season.
